The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation presents at its Museum in Athens, from December 6, 2025 to April 11, 2026, the temporary exhibition\u00a0\u201cFrom Monet to Warhol: Three generations, one collection, a journey through the evolution of Modern Art.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

83 masterpieces by 45 leading figures of modern and contemporary art form a unique visual panorama encompassing more than 12 artistic movements. Through a compelling dialogue between works, the exhibition retraces the history of painting from Impressionism to the present day.<\/p>\n

Iconic artists of the late 19th and 20th centuries\u2014including Bonnard, Chagall, De Kooning, Degas, Dufy, Ernst, Gauguin, Kandinsky, Lichtenstein, Magritte, Man Ray, Marquet, Matisse, Modigliani, Monet, Morisot, Munch, Picasso, Pissarro, Seurat, Signac, Toulouse-Lautrec, Vuillard and Warhol\u2014are featured, alongside lesser-known yet equally important and influential artists such as Angrand, Anquetin, Denis, Feininger, Friesz, Hayet, Lacombe, Laug\u00e9, Pourtau, Ranson, Redon, S\u00e9rusier, Szafran, Vallotton and others.<\/p>\n

Visitors have the rare opportunity to see, gathered together, key works that marked the most pivotal moments in art over the past 130 years, spanning from Impressionism to Pop Art, with intermediate movements including Post-Impressionism, Fauvism, Expressionism, Cubism, Abstraction and Surrealism.<\/p>\n

Jazz at the Museum @ B&E Goulandris Foundation<\/h3>\n

The\u00a0B&E Goulandris Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0presents\u00a0Jazz at the Museum<\/a>, a series of tribute concerts to different jazz genres. Once a month, jazz meets visual art and together they take us on a music journey to the heart of jazz, at the B&E Goulandris Foundation Amphitheatre and under the artistic direction of Dimitris Tsakas.<\/p>\n

After five successful years, this beloved concert series expands and evolves. It opens up to new musical paths, now embracing classical music, lyrical song and other forms of expression that highlight the timeless power of the musical art. The new thematic cycle, titled\u00a0\u201cHer Voice\u201d<\/strong>, places women at the heart of the artistic exploration \u2013 as creators, performers and sources of inspiration. Through nine unique concerts, the programme explores the female presence and influence in the musical world, illuminating voice, experience, expression and creativity.<\/p>\n
