Vyronas is another neighborhood of Athens, located about 3 km southeast of Athens city center, which was also part of municipality of Athens but now is an independent municipality in the southeastern part of the city. Its name comes from George Gordon Byron, 6th Baron Byron, the famous English poet and writer, who is a national hero of Greece.

The most important reason that many Athenians  visit this neighborhood especially every summer is the open-air Theater of Rocks where many concerts takes place this period. And today Beth Hart, the American singer will have a concert there, so if you want to attend in, few tickets remained here.

About a week ago, the 2nd Vyronas Street Art Festival took place in Erganis School Complex (Tataoulon & Mideias, Vyronas, 16233 2′ of walking from the last stop of 214) so the city becomes is even more colorful with many street art murals around, so today is the perfect chance to discover it.
