Recently, in Monemvasia, the house where he was born, it was decided to turn it into a museum about him, and in the permanent exhibition, you can discover more about the poet’s life and work.
So, this is another good reason to visit Monemvasia, as it is, itself, one of the most beautiful and unique landscape in Greece, only a 4h-drive from Athens, and a must visit whatever season you visit the country.
