Bicycle is life, it is joy, it is health, it is a way of life! That’s why it has its own celebration in the city center! From 28th to 20th of March, 2025, in Pedion Areos Park, Athens lives to the rhythm of cycling and invites you to be part of this celebration! The aim of Athens Bike Festival from the first year of its creation, back in 2010, was to bring together the entire bicycle community in an event – a celebration of the bicycle itself!
Athletes, amateurs, ordinary cycling enthusiasts, children, everyday citizens interested in alternative transport – everyone interested in cycling in any form has one thing in common: the bike! Gathering more than 35,000 visitors every year, the Athens Bike Festival highlights the joy of cycling, the simplicity, convenience and practicality that characterize the medium.
Some of the interesting events of the festival are the Bike Playground for kids 3 to 10 years old, the bike race, the first workshop on cycling tourism “The present and the future of cycling tourism in Greece”, the Spin Art, an exciting artistic event, for artists young and old, combining the joy of cycling with the magic of art, a vintage bike exhibition, trial shows and test rides and much more.
