Tip of the day – Discovering Petralona!

Petralona, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Athens, could be your today destination to explore its secrets. The area is located between Koukaki, Thissio and Gazi, and has its own style and character. Merkouri Square with many cafes and bars, Troon street with its restaurants where you can find some really tasteful local dishes, Alsos Petralonon, a small but cute park to go running, to go for a walk with your pet, the vintage open air cinema of Zefyros (note it down  for the summer!) or just have a quiet moment for yourself between city’s nature. As you walk in the area, it is sure that you will find something interesting to admire!

Here it’s a special suggestion about the evening: Africana is the name of one of the oldest bars in Petralona. From tonight and every February’s Wednesday, it starts its Piano Bar Sessions with Myrto Naoum & Yiannis Papadopoulos with some famous international jazz songs of 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s.
