Greeks celebrate the orthodox Easter which this year is on April 12th, 2026. With a rich program of cultural and social activities, the City of Athens welcomes Easter, inviting people of all ages to participate in events that combine creativity, music, tradition, and solidarity. From late March through Holy Week, cultural venues, museums, theaters, and facilities of the City of Athens will host workshops for children, concerts, educational programs, and community service initiatives.
