Tip of the day 30/11/2024 – Maria Callas Museum: The Party!

The Maria Callas Museum commemorates the birth day of the iconic lyrical artist with two events.  And what a perfect chance to know better the great artist artist and the her Museum!

On 30/11, from 10:00 in the morning until midnight, visitors to the museum will have the opportunity to discover the magical world of opera, the life and career of the great soprano, with reduced general admission to the exhibition halls! On the same day, at 20:00, Petraki Street (at the back of the museum) will be “transformed” into a stage full of music and rhythm, for the street party that for the second year will light up the night with the magic of Callas!

On 2/12 – birth day of the unforgettable artist – from 17:00 to 21:00, there will be free entrance to the museum’s exhibition spaces. At the same time, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a concert in the museum’s event hall by the Camerata Junior – Youth Orchestra of the Friends of Music and orchestra in residence of the Athens Concert Hall, which will perform works by Bellini, Puccini, Verdi, Delibes, and other leading composers.

The “La tua Maria” collection, inspired by the unparalleled diva, awaits you with discounts available only for this night. Bags, notebooks, mugs, artistic posters, and even the Museum’s catalog will be offered at special prices. A perfect opportunity to take home a piece of Maria Callas’ magic!
