“Dora Stratou” Theater – Philopappos Hill
The F Hill Sessions returns for a second year to Filopappou Hill and the magical Dora Stratou Theater, presenting a diverse program of 16 concerts featuring Greek and international artists. Following the hugely successful first edition, which was warmly embraced by the public, the festival returns bigger and better, cementing its status as Athens’ new cultural landmark. In one of the city’s most iconic locations, on the Hill of the Muses, where nature, history, and modern urban life coexist seamlessly, the F Hill Sessions once again creates a unique cultural experience, continuing a vibrant dialogue between music, the natural environment, the city, and its people beneath the Attic sky.
The F Hill Sessions 2026 kicks off in June and will run through the end of September, featuring concerts by prominent Greek and international artists spanning jazz, rock, ethnic, traditional, and contemporary music. Among them are the Winter Swimmers, Maria Papageorgiou, Yannis Angelakas and Nikos Veliotis with their iconic project Anases ton Lykon, Martha Frintzila alongside the Kubara Project & Kalogeraki Bros, the Polis Ensemble featuring guest Haig Yazdjian, Savina Yannatou with Primavera en Salonico, Stavros Lantsias with his virtuoso musicians, as well as international acts—favorites of the Greek audience as well as new discoveries—such as Nate Smith, the alternative jazz/hip-hop drummer who won two Grammy Awards this year, the legendary Italian singer-songwriter Vinicio Capossela, the evocative Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, the neoclassical-electronic duo Grandbrothers, and others to be announced soon.

The Dora Stratou Theatre is located opposite the Acropolis, on the back side of Philopappou Hill.
It was built in 1963 especially for the musician
