Local craft markets are a vibrant part of Athens life, with craft markets happening almost every weekend—and sometimes even during the week—across various spots in the city. The largest is the Meet Market, typically held at Technopolis, and another popular venue is the Kypseli Municipal Market, in Fokionos Negri square. If you want to support local vendors and pick up unique gifts and souvenirs from Greece, save this page for updates on all the exciting market events happening in Athens!  Ifestou street in Monastiraki square and Avissinias  square in the same area, Evripidou street, if you are interested in spices and kitchen  stuff are some of the spots you can start. There is  even a walking tour dedicated  to craft markets of Athens and it would be the perfect  starting point for your shopping (Book it here Athens: Local markets with artisanal crafts walking tour).

Athens Local Market | Jan 31–Feb 1, Feb 7–8, Feb 14–15, Feb 21–22

With a strong identity, community vibes, and a love for handmade items, Athens Local Market continues to fill @impacthubathens with limited edition pieces, creators, workshops, nand an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. Each event is an experience that brings you closer to the people behind each brand — a creative celebration that unites, inspires, and opens up space for true expression. This month, our workshops bring people closer to the creative process. From candle making to tufting and sashiko embroidery, workshops and live activities transform the space into an open workshop. Come for the handmade, stay for the community.
