Tip of the day – 2nd Comics ‘n beer Festival

The 2nd Comics n’ Beer fest will take place this weekends starting from today (14, 15 and 16 October 2022) at the building of the Hellenic Association of Archaeologists (134 Ermou Street), close at Thissio Metro Stop. So, if you like comics and living among colors, have a visit there -even if most of them are in greek, you will have the chance to taste some local beers.

And if you are more than jazzy person, tonight there is a jazz concert at Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation (13, Eratosthenous, 116 35, Athens), the first of “Jazz at the Museum” concert series, with a tribute to Jazz Noir by the quartet of Dimitris Kalantzis on Friday 14 October at 20.30. Period films, many of which are black and white, with their charmingly dark atmosphere that immerses the viewer in mystery, crime and passion, have a direct and almost associative relationship with jazz. Dimitris Kalantzis’s quartet, with extensive experience in arrangements, explores precisely this dark and fascinating cinematic world through a moving selection of films and musical themes.
