Out of the city center, there are of course various areas where interesting things happens concerned street art, and this is a another good chance to explore the neighborhoods of Athens and  being a real local in your trip.

Nea Filadelfeia:  Take the metro and stop at Perissos station  and start exploring. You will meet graffitis of famous  Greek actor, of Michael Jordan, graffitis inspired by family, in a good or bad side and so many  more. From 2023, the area  has its own Street Art festival, so more graffiti will be added soon, we guess.  Have in mind that Nea Filadelfia has very cute coffee shops and restaurants, so that  you can  have your lunch/diner here.

Vyronas: Another athenian neighborhood that has its own street art festival is Vyronas. Just take the trolley 11 from Syntagma square and get off at the last stop. Here you  will find also an open-air theatre where most of the summer concerts of Athens take place here, and it’s also one of the places you will find the murals.

Chalandri: Heading to the northern neighborhoods of Athens, Chalandri Street Art Festival will be another spot for you. We hope you  still have empty memory card of your camera.  From Holargos metro station, head to Manos Papadakis  Sport Center to discover the murals created during that festival. Have in mind that you find out murals at the schools of the area too.
